Annual Community Mailing
FOL sends an annual mailing to community households and businesses asking for voluntary contributions. These contributions fund the library’s collections and typically raise more than $15,000 for the library.
FOL members, friends, and volunteers fold the solicitation letter and stuff it with a return envelope into an envelope, and a preprinted mailing label is affixed. This is a great one-day service opportunity to undertake with friends, while enjoying coffee, a free lunch, and loads of conversation. Volunteers are appreciated for any amount of time that their schedules permit.
The next annual community mailing will take place on Wednesday, October 26 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday, October 27 from 9 a.m. to noon in the third floor board room. Please ask for directions at the circulation desk.
