Sign Up for Library Text Alerts
Starting November first, the Glen Ellyn Public Library is excited to offer text message alerts for their patrons. These text alerts allow you to receive notices about holds that are available, items that are due soon, overdue or that can be renewed. The service is free, though standard messaging rates may apply.
Signing up for the service is easy. Any existing cardholder may text “SIGNUP” to the email address linc@shoutbomb.com. Then, you will receive a short series of messages asking for your library card number and PIN (library account password). The service will ask for your email address, which you can provide, though the word “none” will suffice.
